Yields: 20 servings
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 16 inches cinnamon sticks, broken
- 12 whole cloves
- 4 cups cranberry juice
- 6 thin orange peels
- 12 cardamom pod, crushed
- 1 pasteurized apple cider
Method of Preparation:
1. Pour the apple cider, cranberry juice and maple syrup in a large saucepan.
2. Incorporate the broken cinnamon sticks, 6 orange peels, 12 cloves and 12 crushed cardamom pods.
3. Over high heat bring the mixture to a boil.
4. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan and allow it to simmer for 20 minutes.
5. Strain the mixture to remove all the spices.
6. Serve immediately.
