Winter season is the perfect excuse to have all the hot chocolate you want. Try something different with this great recipe that will keep you warm all day.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon sugar, powdered
- 5 cups water
- 3 tablespoons caramel sauce
- 5 3-ounce milk chocolate, chopped
- 1 1/4 cups whipping cream
Method of Preparation:
1. Pour the 5 cups in a saucepan and incorporate the chocolate.
2. Simmer the mixture and stir until the chocolate dissolves.
3. Cover the mixture and refrigerate it. Let it cool for about 1 hour.
4. Whip the powdered sugar and 1 cup cream until peaks form.
5. Sprinkle the caramel over the cream mix and swirl it together. Make sure you to not over mix it.
6. Take the chocolate mixture and reheat on a saucepan.
7. Allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.
8. Serve in mugs and top with caramel whipped cream.
