Orange Apple Cider with Peppercorns




Enjoy your traditional tasting type of cider with a great slight spicy taste and that mouthwatering taste that only a citrus fruit can bring to the table.

Yields: 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium apple, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
  • 4 cups apple cider
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 cup maple syrup

Method of Preparation:
1. Pour the apple cider into a saucepan.
2. Incorporate the maple syrup, slices of apple, peppercorns and slices of orange.
3. Over medium low heat, bring the ingredients to a gentle simmer.
4. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes.
5. Serve in mugs.
